"Tubmarine" is a video lit mostly with UV lights and the characters are painted with fluorescent paint.
The main character - the Lars Fish - travels up through the bioluminescent deeps of the sea to become a grown musician. On the way Lars Fish meets other animated fish, created by us in one very intense evening. The sea bottom sculpture created in 3D by Zofia joins the versatile mix of styles used in the animation. The cherry on the cake for me in this project was shooting the musician Lars on this tiny little boat in the open sea in Norway.
